Mthwakazi Liberation Front has described as a lie for Minister of State for Bulawayo Provincial Affairs Eunice Sandi Moyo's claims that President Robert Mugabe deeply loves Bulawayo.
Moyo recently said Mugabe loves the city and its people deeply much to the lash out by the Mthwakazi Restoration party.
"The claims by the minister of state for Bulawayo affairs Sandi Eunice Moyo that Zimbabwean President Mugabe deeply loves Bulawayo is a horrible lie," said MLF Bulawayo spokesperson Ndabezinhle Fuyane. "For how long has her boss been in power that convinces her that he loves Bulawayo? Bulawayo is in shambles right now under his leadership. The second capital for that matter, what proves that he loves Bulawayo? What has he done for the past 36 years in power to give us that confidence?"
Fuyane said at times it is always prudent "ukuthi lizinuke amakhwapha " before you could air your comments."
"Having that political position in Zanu PF does not make you immune to criticism on the daylight lies. You need to check on your vocabulary and get the correct definition of ' deeply love' then you will know where to use such terms," he said.
"Bulawayo struggles in the hands of you Zanu PF officials whose only agenda is to advance the Zanu PF' s grand plan. It is lying while its population suffers to an extent of indulging in political prostitution with hopes of bettering it in the hands of those whom you refer to as deeply loving to the City."
Fuyane said Bulawayo City is made up of different people who in particular some are not even political activists but has wailed the fall of the city in the hands of politicians and Zanu PF officials like Moyo.
"Never dare mention the deep love of Bulawayo by politicians save by the mere citizens and the surrounding community and the willing stockholders concerned. Its sacrifice in the efforts of bettering itself goes beyond its measurable doubt that one day it will be the best in the Mthwakazi region as it stands to be the Mthwakazi Capitalm," he said.
"Sandi you stand to defend and promote your bosses not on behalf of local citizens, thus a blue lie. You have failed to stand for this people and therefore you need to shut up. You have no testimony about the aspects of love in whatsoever, hence the need ' yokuzinuka amakhwapha."
