NRZ resumes passengers train services

The National Railways of Zimbabwe has announced that it is resuming its passengers train services with effect from MOnday.
In a statement the parastatal's acting Public Relations Manager Martin Banda said the NRZ wishes to advise the travelling public that the Passenger Train Services will resume normal operations with effect from Monday 27 June 2016. The service was temporarily suspended following the collective Job Action by some employees, which has ended.
"The following trains will start running with effect from Monday 27 June 2016:- Harare-Bulawayo-Harare,Harare-Mutare-Harare,c) Bulawayo-Victoria Falls-Bulawayo, Bulawayo-Chicualacuala-Bulawayo and Bulawayo-Chiredzi-Bulawayo," he said. "The NRZ will advise dates of commencement for the other trains in due course."
