Zanu PF United Kingdom Chapter has said as the cash crisis is rocking Zimbabwe, it is time for politics with a conscience as things may result to civil unrest.
On its Facebook post Zanu PF UK said only a dishonesty person would deny that there is cash crisis in Zimbabwe.
"There are serious problems in paying our public service. It is times like these when serious austerity measures are expected from everyone. Why some are disenchanted is the fact that civil servants are expected to austere when politicians continue with a "business as usual" expenditure," reads the post.
"It is unfair for the public to be expected to tighten their non-existent budgets when they see what they believe is profligacy all around them. When we says let's austere, the whole "system" should austere. It is time for politics with a conscience."
