The Zapu Leader Dumiso Dabengwa has challenged the youth in the country to stop fleeing the country but remain in it to fight the misrule and government for failing to provide for the citizens.
Speaking at a meeting held in Joubert Park South Africa, Dabengwa initially recognized the Zimbabweans diaspora installed Chief Gumede who was present at the meeting and the thanked uLoyiko group for their bravery to exhibit the Gukurahundi genocide and laying bare the 1979 grand plan.
He said he met the group three days ago and they explained the issue to him and he was happy with their project.
Dabengwa questioned Matabeleland people why have they been quite about this until uLoyiko did it for us.
Dabengwa said Mthwakazi youths should not run away from their country to South Africa.
He said the war is back home not in SA. Dabengwa said when they were young then they didn't run away from their country but they fought against the Smith regime as youths.
Dabengwa said the lack of interest in the Gukurahundi genocide caused all this problem.
Dr Dabengwa said soon after independence the white guy told Mugabe that Zimbabwe was not under any threat from anyone except if he gives UMkhonto WeSizwe bases in Zimbabwe the white guys told Mugabe that only Zipra ZAPU and UMkhonto We Size were his threat.
The Zapu leader said that was said in his presents together with general Mujuru, Mugabe, general Wolse, Masuku and few others.
Dr Dabengwa said he questioned that but it fell on deaf ears.
He said when ZAPU was removed from Mugabe's government and them arrested they were not surprised.
Dabengwa said Mugabe is on record saying that when the snake is in the house you must target its head.
Dabengwa said uLoyiko group must be supported and be promoted and be given more information. He said people must be brave not to be cowards show yourselves standup and be counted.
