MDC-T leader applauded for revealing his health status

The Leader of the MDC-T Morgan Tsvangirai has been hailed for revealing his health status to the nation at the time when the people have remained speculating about the health of the head of state President Robert Mugabe who has never thought of telling his voters about his health conditions when he were on several trips for suspected medical care in the Far east.
Political analyst Pedzisai Ruhanyasaid by disclosing his health status, Morgan Tsvangirai should be applauded for his openness; a key component of accountable leadership.
"This is in direct contradistinction to President Mugabe who thinks that his health is a state secret despite its capacity to destabilize the country," he said.
"This shows that Morgan belongs to modern democratic politicians who appreciate openness, transparency and accountability to the people they lead. To the contrary, Mugabe behaves like a Stone Age traditional chief whose health is only known by spirit mediums and sangomas (Rotina Mavhunga, aka Nomatter Tagarira) and unknown spirits."
He said what Tsvangirai did assists to calm down hyenas and vultures in his party.
