Does Mugabe harbour criminals until they come out?- analyst

A political analyst Revesayi Mutede has expressed suspicions that President Robert Mugabe harbours criminals who are only exposed when they come out of his party Zanu PF.

"Does Mugabe harbour criminals until they fall out with him?" she asked. "Who is more corrupt, the one who is allowed to be corrupt or the other who superintends corruption? Who is Professor Jonathan Moyo to determine when, how and why former Vice President Joice Mujuru can be prosecuted?"

Mutede said in Shona they say "kudada kwevari mugomo kukumbira vari mubani mapfihwa".

She said Prof. Moyo, one of the most known political turncoats and inciters of political hate and exclusion in Zimbabwe's history, just because he is part of President Mugabe's brutal, corrupt and dismally failed government, can enjoy and consider himself an angel on earth, who determines who, when, how and why one can be prosecuted.

"Assuming our ZimPF leader Dr Amai Joyce Mujuru, just like any living human, has sinned both against her Creator and nation, why does it need a mere minister of higher education to make such abusive and intimidatory insinuations, meant to hold a citizen prisoner before even taken to a competent court?" she said.

"What we know of Prof Moyo is that he is a well educated rocket sorry political scientist and minister of technology and not a CID officer, prosecutor general or court judge."

Mutede said interestingly however, that this is neither the first time nor second time, Prof. Moyo makes the same reminding like observation about the "criminal liability" of Dr Mujuru, meaning he has made himself personally an interested party to President Mugabe's evil political manipulation of the national justice system, where he corruptly lets society, state and government rot, morally decay and totally collapse and then come elections time, only to pretend he is the last man standing.

"Just on Saturday , Dr Mujuru once again challenged President Mugabe, police, CID, prosecutor general to drag her to a court of law if at one time in the past she acted outside the law," Mutede said.

"So why are they procrastinating and limiting to intimidating her through a well known discredited political turncoat or simply a weevil or devil's messenger, ironically according to his own boss President Mugabe."

"For comparison or contrasting's sake, who is the people's worst or most dangerous enemy, Dr Mujuru, whose crimes we all don't know yet or Prof. Moyo, who President Mugabe has already confirmed is a political weevil or devil incarnate?" she added.

"Does it really mean an adult man who is a university professor can not at least see or could not hear and understand how his own boss views him?"

Mutede said reading Luke 6:39-42; 18:1-6 and the one when Lord Jesus Christ challenged the Jews to be the first to throw the stones at the sinful woman if they have never sinned themselves.

"Prof. Moyo must tell us the morality of President Mugabe ignoring corrupt acts by his aides by opting to simply keep their criminal records until his final visit to the grave or use such files to intimidate them with arrest each time elections draw close," she said.

"So who is more corrupt, the one who is allowed to do so or the other who superintends corruption at the highest level? Under these circumstances, Zimbabweans must simply forgive Dr Mujuru "in case" there was such wrong doing but we doubt all these allegations given they are coming from a proven political weevil."
