COMEDIAN Doc Vikela says he is shattered after his wife Daisy suffered a miscarriage. The award winning comedian, who celebrated his birthday last Thursday, was at a loss for words when he spoke to Chronicle Showbiz.
"I don't know where to start. The baby was due anytime. Everything was fine on Thursday during my birthday but things turned for the worst the next day. Her blood pressure was high and as a result we lost the baby in hospital in the early morning," said Doc Vikela.
He said all he has to do was to accept fate and become a pillar of strength for his wife.
"I'm still confused. God gives and takes away, we've to accept that. My main concern is for my wife to get better in this time of distress," said Doc Vikela.
The comedian took to Facebook to share the sad news with his fans: "The Angel of Death visited our household and stole our son. No amount of words can bring him back. No amount of tears can ever quench our loss. NdiMwari anenge atonga! My hope and prayer is for my wife to get through this phase because the devastation it has caused is too much to bear… All the excitement and preparation and wait has vanished! No words can ever explain our loss except to ask for God's guidance! Will forever miss the prospect of what could have been! So long champ!"
