Former Education minister Aeneas Chigwedere has filed a notice of taxation against his son Mangwiza, claiming $6 500 in legal costs.

Chigwedere claims he incurred the costs during a legal battle against his son in a witchcraft case.

The former Mashonaland East governor was taken to court several times by his son, who accused him of possessing goblins that tormented their family.

However, the courts dismissed the case on jurisdictional grounds, saying the matter was spiritual rather than civil, despite several attempts by Mangwiza to have his father charged.
