Mugabe praises daughter for her determination to succeed

President Mugabe and the First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe pose for a photograph with their daughter Bona who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) Degree in Accountancy at City University in Hong Kong on Monday.
Bona Mugabe has graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Honours in Accountancy Degree at City University in Hong Kong.
Speaking soon after the graduation ceremony, President Mugabe praised his daughter for her determination to succeed, saying she has done the first family proud by achieving her degree.
He paid tribute to the Hong Kong authorities for offering their daughter a place to study in their country.
The First Lady praised her daughter for her discipline which saw her successfully completing her degree.
Bona and her long time friend, Nyaradzo Khimbini, who also graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration Honours in Human Resources Management, became Zimbabwes first students to study at City University in Hong Kong.
The two who were described by President Mugabe as Siamese twins, challenged other youths to dedicate their time to education.
They encouraged youths to take advantage of the Look East policy to further their education.
Also present at the graduation ceremony were parents of Nyaradzo Khimbini, Zimbabwean ambassador to China, Fredrick Shava and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, among others.
President Mugabe later shared some lighter moments with City University authorities, telling them of Zimbabwes willingness to bring more students to the institution.
