Government officials are attending an investment conference in London with view to update stakeholders on the measures that have been adopted regarding the country's debt resolution as well as luring British companies to invest.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Development Patrick Chinamasa, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) Governor Dr John Mangudya and several government officials are attending the conference which opened this Tuesday.
Speaking to the ZBC News from London, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Macro-economic Planning and Investment Promotion, Dr Desire Mutize Sibanda said the conference offers an opportunity for the government to entice British companies to invest in Zimbabwe.
Dr Sibanda said Chinamasa and Dr Mangudya will meet representatives of Zimbabweans in the Diaspora to update them on recent developments and the need for them to invest back home.
Zimbabwe has intensified the investment drive through roadshows across the globe with a view to tap into billions of dollars worth of foreign direct investment which some countries are getting annually.
