AS the ruling party Zanu PF leaders become more uncomfortable about the outbreak of protests in the nation, the party's Harare MP Terence Mukupe has warned the people that violence does not help anywhere but escalates problems for the nation.
His remarks come at a time when the nation today faces a possible shutdown as the mobilisation for a national protest against the failing government have been going on in the nation.
"Violence never solves anything. As an elected legislator, I do call upon our people to seek progressive and peaceful engagement with the Executive. I also call upon the Executive to take heed of the cries of the citizenry!" he said. "It's also high time as Zanu PF we put to rest the issue of succession which is bringing about the anxiety and the crumbling economy.... I want to live in a prosperous and peaceful Zimbabwe."
He said all glory and honor be to God who knows what plans he has for the beautiful Zimbabwe.
