Jonathan Moyo suggests govt behind Whatsapp shutdown

Former minster of information Jonathan Moyo has suggested that Zimbabweans should stay away from WhatsApp.

Moyo twitted this morning: "If there's a stay away as you claim then stay away from WhatsApp."

Zimbabwean on the microblogging website, Twitter, have said Moyo's comment could be evident that the government could be behind "WhatsApp shutdown" today.

@eymmie twitted "This is a clear giveaway as to who is behind Whatsapp shutdown today. #ShutDownZimbabwe2016"
