Council feel pinch of shutdown protests

Bulawayo City Council on Wednesday responded  to shutdown protests by abandoning  its full council meeting.

Traditionally, council hold its full meeting every first Wednesday of each month.

However, due to shut down protests, council cancelled the meeting.

"Following the cancellation of the Full Council meeting yesterday, please be advised that the meeting will be rescheduled for next week," the public relations department said today.
