WATCH: Question Time - Zimbabwe crisis

The economic situation in Zimbabwe has become a challenge not only to its citizens but to the broader SADC region. Tensions have been brewing since last month when civil servants were not paid their salaries.

Subsequently Zimbabweans went to the streets in protest against economic hardship and the acute shortage of cash. In a twist of events a ban on the importation of goods including basic food items from South Africa, has been imposed by the Zimbabwean authorities.

This is believed to have triggered the recent protests that culminated in yesterday's national strike. But, is there political will to address the Zimbabwean crisis?
