Police still hunting for child molester

Police are still appealing for the whereabouts of the suspect fingered in the case where minors are believed to have been abused.
The photos of the suspect, who was wearing Zimbabwe National Army uniform, went viral on social media and police are still hunting for the suspect.
Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba called on Zimbabweans with information which might lead to the whereabouts of the suspect to come forward.
She added that although the first suspect, also a minor, was apprehended, doctors confirmed that he was not the one on the picture.
Police said a girl child who is the victim was sent for professional counselling and they hope that after the sessions she will assist them with information which might lead to the arrest of the victim.
Police continue to urge parents and guardians not leave minors with strangers as this exposes them to abuse.
