Govt has 'so much fear for one, how about 14 million of us'

People's Democratic Party Spokesperson Jacob Mafume has rapped the government for fearing only one person Pastor Evan Mawarire whom they accuse of sparking violence and questions what if the whole nation of 14 million people would take to the streets.

Mafume's remarks come in the wake of Mawarire's arrest over the first shutdown protest last week.

"They have so much fear for one how about the 14 million of us. Protest is not a spectator sport we should protest with all that we have from tomorrow onwards. they look for a button stick ZRP spelling. what about the 15 billion which stolen," he said.

"What about the pensions they can't pay. What the about salaries that are not coming.what about the money in banks we can't get. we demand the release of Zimbabwe from the grip of Shaka's mother tendencies an old man who wants to kill as many Zimbabweans as he can."...
