Zimbabwean exiles to protest in solidarity

The Zimbabwe Vigil and its sister organisation the Restoration of Human Rights in Zimbabwe (ROHR) and other Zimbabweans in the UK will be demonstrating in solidarity with the '#ShutdownZimbabwe' campaign on Wednesday and Thursday 13th and 14th July at the Zimbabwe Embassy in London.

"We will be outside the Zimbabwe Embassy in London from 12 noon - 2 pm on both days," said the statement.

The campaign has been organised by '#ThisFlag'.

"We are also protesting against the arrest of its leader Evan Mawarire on trumped-up charges of fomenting violence. Many of the demonstrators will be wearing Zimbabwean flags."
