Mobile money transfer has come in handy for jailed 54 Bulawayo protesters who where struggling to raise bail money.
Concerned people have been making donations to free the protesters.
The 54 were arrested and charged with violence during the stay away and the bail for each of them was set at $80.
In total $4320 was needed to bail all of them out.
Bulawayo journalist Zenzele Ndebele has been drumming up support on twitter.
By mid morning Thursday, about $320 was needed to reach the target.
