Scores of Morgan Tsvangirai supporters thronged the party's headquarters in Harare today to welcome him back following a long absence due to illness.
The MDC-T leader was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.
Business came to a standstill along Nelson Mandela Street in the capital as placard waving party supporters danced and ululated.
Riot police had to come in to control the crowd.
