The former Vice President Joice Mujuru led party ZimPF has said former War Veterans Minister Christopher Mutsvangwa's departure from the ruling Zanu PF means that the party is not representing the interest of the people but only pursues the interests of the leaders.

This was after Mutsvangwa who has been fired from the party said he has left the party to be with the people implying that the party is no longer with people.

ZimPF through its Facebook page said Chris Mutsvangwa has let the cat out of the bag.

"He made what should have startled those that he left behind. He confessed that from now on he was leaving Zanu PF in order to be with the people. He has left Zanu PF in order to be with you and me, ordinary people toiling under the york of Zanu PF oppression," said ZimPF.

"That's an admission that Zanu doesn't represent the people's interests. People should come first in everything that we do.

"We stand for the people, their interests are what drives Dr Joice Mujuru.

"We will stand for the people, for the people are ultimately our employers, we are Judy mere servants, servants of the people. Join Zimbabwe People First today."

The remarks by ZimPF comes amid speculation that Mutsvangwa might be joining Mujuru's party soon.
