A political commemtator Bekezela Maduma Fuzwayo has said Pastor Evan Mawarire who has been criticised as being unGodly by many for engaging in political issues still using the name pastor was doing the right thing and set an example with he admires.

Fuzwayo said there is a general perception that national politics is dirty and once you are a community or humanitarian worker you should not be seen venturing into it.

"Sometimes when you are on the ground and you go around and see the suffering that Zimbabweans are going through specifically because of the mismanagement of the country you find yourself with no alternative but to tackle the issue right from its source," he said.

"All our humanitarian issues in Zimbabwe and all the human rights abuses that require our immediate interventions are without doubt issues that wouldn't be there if we had a governance that knows where to put its priorities."

He said all the postings by some brothers and sisters who say Mawarire is being ungodly by being involved in the national politics while he carries the pastor title need to seriously rethink on their accessions.

"Zimbabwe is not at its best. People are suffering out there, our prayers and aid with no effective solution to the source will never get us out of our suffering," he said.

"This needs all of us Zimbabweans more so, right now, the Church should be seen standing up and intervening. Off course there is those churches who are benefiting from the suffering of the people who turn to the church for deliverances from their sufferings and put huge amounts of money into the pockets of the pastors."
