Zimbabwe People First has challenged the people of Zimbabwe to engage in more non violent confrontations with the ruling Zanu PF government in an effort to achieve the so much needed freedoms and economic emancipation.
The party led by former Vice Ptresident Joice Mujuru made the calls through its facebook wall.
"It's not long to go now, the people are scenting the whiff of #Freedom. #Freedom is not handed on a platter, it is demanded. We have to strive for it. The freedom Zimbabweans are demanding has been appropriated and captured by (President Robert) Mugabe, his wife and a few others," said the party.
"We have to wage a peaceful, nonviolent war to demand our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms in the streets, media and most importantly via the ballot box. We need to go out and register as voters so that as and when elections are called, we will be ready to send Mugabe and his wife home even though we don't know where their home is anymore since they seem to be visiting us here in Zimbabwe from Dubai, UAE and Singapore."
