President Robert Mugabe led Government has been urged to listen to the growing cries of suffering Zimbabweans.
In a statement, church leaders said citizens are increasingly fed up with rampant corruption amid widespread poverty.
"We call upon our government to listen to the cries of citizens whose cries and sufferings are loud and clear."
"Loss of trust in government's ability to pay its workforce as evidenced by the stay away on the July 6 and continued threats of industrial action by civil servants, collapsed parastatals caused by rampant corruption and high levels of accountability and impunity," they added.
Church leaders said moves to impose bond notes despite their clear resistance from the economic sector and citizens are some of the issues that people have raised for the government to address.
"Lack of consultation when implementing policies such as the national pledge that has faced resistance and constitutional challenges from the citizens, imposition of restrictions on imports thus crippling across border business and destroying livelihood for thousands of Zimbabweans and unnecessary police roadblocks which are fuelling corruption."
Zimbabwe has in recent weeks rocked by sporadic protests with citizens venting their displeasure over deteriorating socio- economic situation.
