Land reform not yet over, says Mugabe

President Robert Mugabe says the land reform programme is not yet over as government is in the process of formulating reforms to ensure that the land the acquired is fully utilised.

He made the remarks during the burial of the late national hero, Dr Charles Utete at the National Heroes Acre this afternoon.

Mugabe hailed the late Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet as a principled man who worked tirelessly for the success of the implementation of the land reform program.

He said his principled stance resulted in government recalling him from retirement to assist in the implementation of reforms being made to the land redistribution exercise.

Dr Utete died on Friday at his Highlands home in Harare.
