Regional Magistrate Noel Mupeiwa has ordered suspended Prosecutor General Johannes Tomana or his office to come and explain the role played by the State in attempting to subvert the trial of convicted rapist Zanu-PF Bikita West MP Munyaradzi Kereke.

Mupeiwa's directive followed an application for legal costs filed by private prosecutor Charles Warara seeking compensation arguing the pair's conduct after the allegations was biased.

The PG's office is expected to give his side of the story on Monday.
