VP John Nkomo told sanctions will only be scrapped after the full implementation GPA

Acting President, John Landa Nkomo this Friday met the Swedish Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Anders Linden and a special envoy of South Sudan President, Mr Salva Kiir at his Munhumutapa offices in Harare.
Mr. Linden said his country is keen to improve bilateral ties and to see free and fair elections in Zimbabwe.
Like other European Union countries, Mr. Linden said sanctions will only be scrapped after the full implementation of the Global Political Agreement (GPA).
Sweden and her European Union allies have been at the forefront of calling for regime-change in Zimbabwe.
The meeting covered wide-ranging issues pertaining to the inclusive government and Zimbabwe -Swedish relations.
