Mthwakazi Liberation Front has urged its members and people of Matabeleland not to panic over the unfolding skirmishes happening in Zimbabwe saying the freedom of Mthwakazi is getting closer.
The party's secretary General Andrea Sibanda said with the fluid developments in Zimbabwe which directly affect Mthwakazi also, MLF wishes to advise its members, followers and well wishers not to panic but to stand readier and keep eyes on the ball-the freedom and independence of Mthwakazi, should the inevitable happen.
"We all need to brace ourselves for ultimate realization of our goal as the political woes and long overdue ills afflict the ailing unitary Zimbabwe. MLF advises its members and followers to distance themselves from the new Zimbabwe-Mthwakazi party formed by the sacked MLF spokesperson David Magagula with his disciples," he said.
"As MLF, we decry the deceptive hoodwinking of some gullible members of our Mthwakazi society through the back door back into Zimbabwean politics of extortion and exploitation."
He said it was for such machinations which had Zimbabwean connotations of all forms and shape that these imposters were expelled from MLF and subsequently barred to speak about or on behalf of MLF on any platform on any day because they are hell bent on destroying MLF and all it stands for.
Sibanda said the first causality of their conspiracy was general Nandinandi himself in spite of the huge sacrifice he did for Mthwakazi and since then they have upped their destruction of the nation on various platforms for reasons best known to themselves.
"These schemes of Magagula and team came to light when bona fide MLF members, seeking real freedom of Mthwakazi, discovered that their names had been fraudulently included in the structure of Zimbabwe-Mthwakazi party," he said.
"These include among others Maphenduka Ndlovu, Mazinyane Thembani, Malandu Earnest and Mangoye Diliza who have complained to MLF leadership about the inclusion of their names in this strange political outfit which still has unquestionable slant to Zimbabwean ideals. We stand with our cadres whose names have been soiled by these back stabbers and urge others to stay away from this insanity."
He said it is for this reason that we advise MLF members to refrain from unsanctioned meetings that are clandestinely called under the banner of MLF.
"All MLF meetings shall be communicated officially through correct offices which are running the affairs of MLF on daily basis and not through or by the dismissed Magagula and his band of conspirators," he said.
"MLF continues to pursue its noble goal to have Mthwakazi restored to its original owners without fear or favour. Forward with the people's struggle for an independent Mthwakazi."
