Zanu PF in crisis - analyst

A political analyst Pedzisai Ruhanya has said the ruling Zanu PF is in serious crisis and it was unwise for the leadership to deny that.
Ruhanya said that Zanu PF and the state are in crisis that cannot be denied; war vets communique or no communique.
"President (Robert) Mugabe, Zanu PF and the rest of society address should the root causes of a variety of these morbid symptoms that appear in the economy, politics and leadership of both Zanu PF and the state," he said.
"Did the communique raise substantive national issues or not? If yes, investigate those issues and address them; the author is not the key issue."
Ruhanya's remarks come in the wake of recent squabbles between the party and the war veterans who have written a communique calling for Mugabe to step down in view that he has failed.
