Residents trust mourns death of council employees

Harare Residents Trust has joined the city council in mourning the death of a council employee Diana Chideya.

The trust said it was saddened by the death of the official and was joining the City of Harare, the Mayor Bernard Manyernyeni, and the Chideya family in mourning the passing on of one of the most professional and competent employees of council, Chideya, who was the Personal Assistant to the Office of the Mayor of Harare.

"She knew the City of Harare more than most of the employees, and was thorough in her handling of visitors to the Mayor's Office," said the trust.

"She will be sadly missed. May her dearest soul rest in eternal peace."
