A political commentator Vince Musewe has urged Zimbabweans to ignore President Robert Mugabe's rants over the civil unrest caused by his failure to run the country and go ahead with the protests to whip him into the line.
President Mugabe on Tuesday said he was not going any way and advised journalists to go and tell those they are working for that he is there for some time.
"That new reality is that Tajamuka, enough is enough and we can no longer accept excuses or the blame game. It does not wash with us anymore," Musewe said.
"Our responsibility I think is to now ignore his rants and deliver a clear message to him that we no longer want him to be our President because he has failed to live up to our expectations.
"That we will do all we can to peacefully change our situation and that cannot be treasonous but rather an indication that we have developed as a society and can no longer accept his paradigm and style of leadership," he said.
Graduates are staging a mass protest on August 3 to show that they are not happy over the government's failure to create jobs for them.
