Hubby jilted for not having a degree

A JILTED lover claims that his wife was influenced by her relatives to leave their matrimonial home because he does not have a degree. Farai Mbiri said that his ex-wife Bolivia Ibwe decided to flee from their matrimonial home because he does not have a degree. Farai revealed the matter at the Harare civil court before magistrate Vongai Muchuchuti over their property sharing case.

"I had to marry another woman because this woman was influenced by her relatives to flee our house because I am uneducated and I do not have a degree," said Farai.

He told the court that Bolivia came to her house and collected all their property leaving the house almost empty. "I am only left with a fridge; this woman came with her relatives and collected everything that was in the house," he said.

Meanwhile Bolivia said she was bitter because Farai made her drop out of school at a tender age. "I don't hate this man because he is the father of my child but I only regret the fact that I did not go to the university because I  had fallen in love him," said Bolivia. She also said that she left the house because Farai would always beat her up.

"He was always physically abusing me, the day I went to my parents' place he had assaulted me at a time I had recently given birth to our baby child," she said. Magistrate Vongai Muchuchuti, who presided over the case, deferred ruling to today.
