Man (40) rapes, impregnating teen niece

A 40-year-old Mount Darwin man from Kukaranda hospital area reportedly on the run after raping and impregnating his 15-year-old orphaned niece he was living with.
A source - whose name cannot can be disclosed for ethical reasons told Bulawayo24 that the man (name withheld to protect minor) would rape the nice when his wife was away - and no one discovered the disgusting act until last month.
As a result of the traumatic experience, the girl who is in form three reportedly skipped school for a couple of weeks.
"As she hadn't been well she was taken to hospital, all tests came out negative so a scan had to be done and it was then that they found out she was pregnant," a source said.
The suspected rapist, the source said, escaped when the matter was discovered and is currently on the run.
Police could not be reached for comment.
