Mawarire a threat to #ThisFlag movement survival

The continued existence of #ThisFlag movement fronted by Pastor Evan Mawarire has again been questioned with reports that the pastor is now in USA.
He was recently in South Africa after his release in Zimbabwe.
A movement calling itself #ThisFlag Citizens Movement has questioned whether #ThisFlag will survive with Mawarire in the diaspora.
There have been calls for him to return to Zimbabwe.
However, he indicated in one of his numerous interviews in South Africa that he was still considering that.
It said in a statement -
A few questions arise out of this nascent movement:
1) when will Pastor Evan vet back to Zimbabwe where he is mostly likely to be arrested on trumped up charges?
His stay in the US is open ended.
2) will the movement be sustained with his absence from the coal face of activism?
Yes, it will. The citizens own the movement and will decide its future.
