ZCTU sues Zimta over $288 000 subscriptions debt

ZCTU has approached the High Court seeking to compel ZIMTA to pay monthly outstanding subscriptions of over $288 000 which have accrued since 2014.

The umbrella labour body said the teachers' representatives' body was making its operations difficult by not submitting its monthly dues in terms of the requirements which the3 parties entered into upon registration.

ZIMTA has since entered an appearance to defend notice and is geared to defend the claim as and when the matter would be set down for hearing.
