Mugabe told to 'Just fix the rot'

Long suffering Zimbabweans have savaged the ruling party's tendencies to resort to thuggery, excuses, insults and character assassination in its desperate bid to remain in power.

Analysts and opposition parties implored President Robert Mugabe and his party to work hard and fix their mess instead of intimidating, battering and blaming critics for their misrule of the past 36 years.

The sentiments come in the wake of the government resorting more and more to its coercive apparatus against dissenting voices as well as a heightening propaganda and smear blitz campaign in state media targeting Zanu PF's detractors.
