Zanu PF legislator Psychology Maziwisa has suggested that Zimbabweans
have deep mistrust of opposition political parties claiming that they
are "wolves in sheep's clothing".
Maziwisa said "99% of #Zimbabweans now know that the opposition are not who they say they are. They are wolves in sheep's clothing!" he tweeted Thursday.
However, he did back up his claims with any research findings.
He added "Let's be honest: in terms of civil opposition politics, in many respects, we lag behind virtually every other decent country on earth".
Earlier on, Maziwisa justified Wednesday police brutal attack on protesting MDC-T youths in Harare.
He said MDC-T should not have expected riot police to 'kiss them".
"After looting & destroying, MDC say police shouldn't have teargassed them. What did they expect? To be kissed?
"Yesterday's events demonstrated that the MDC-T isn't just an undemocratic party but a first-class violent movement".
