Police launch teargas again

More pictures have emerged of police launching teargas on scores of opposition political party members at Freedom Square in Harare.

As expected, riot police descended at the venue early morning in a bid to violently block a planned 200 000 men demonstration.

MDC-T vice president Nelson Chamisa posted on his official tweet account saying the protest will go ahead.

"Still in court. The police seem to have no meaningful submissions.It is clear the demo will go ahead. Keep you posted," he posted shorts after 10:30am.
