Used condoms lands hubby in boiling water

The adage, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, was proved true in the case of a Harare woman who scalded her hubby with boiled water, after she discovered used condoms in their house. Such was Rufaro Maseya's (21) anger that she boiled water and poured it on her unsuspecting hubby, Solomon Nyambuya (36).
For her cruel act, Rufaro was slapped with a 10 months prison term before Harare magistrate Lazarus Murendo suspended four months on condition that she is of good behaviour. The remainder of six months was set aside on condition that Rufaro completes 210 hours of unpaid work at Thomlison Primary School.
When Rufaro appeared in court, magistrate Murendo had told her that she was supposed to acknowledge that her hubby was protecting her.
Magistrate Murendo said that Rufaro was supposed to understand that "some men go around dipping their tubes without protection.
"As a normal man he decided to do this (have sex with the woman) because you (Rufaro) were away."
State, led by prosecutor Patience Chimusaru proved that the altercation started on November 12 when Rufaro saw the used condoms in their house. Seeing that his wife would not stomach the fact that he was having such shenanigans, Solomon is said to have been 'wise' and indicated that since he used the house with other men, they could have been responsible.
Despite his explanation, Rufaro did not buy her hubby's denial and she pulled one trick which she had rolled up her sleeve. She decided to make her hubby suffer and she went on to boil water which she poured on him and he suffered burns on his back and neck. After the punishment from his wife, there is no doubt that it will be a 'long time coming' before Solomon decides to venture into the concubines business.
