Tajamuka leader Promise Mkwananzi and another member have been denied bail.

A laywer and PDP spokesperson Jacob Mafume posted on Facebook that this shows that dark Days are back in the country.

"The magistrates court stated that the accused is facing a serious charge and that they might intimidate the security agents .The lead counsel Tonderai Bhatasara put up a valiant effort and his reasons were feebly opposed by the state representative," he said.

"The next step is to go to the High Court and hope justice prevails .The case of the 70 has been rolled over for tomorrow."

He said the stated reason was the court is tired it works up to 3-30pm and since it has been working since 8 30 it wont sit anymore.

"It would appear the courts will sit to put people inside but will not sit urgently to keep people out . The other accused in other courts did not fare better they were denied bail. It would appear the storm clouds are gathering over this our nation," he said.

"The valley of the shadow of death is once again upon us. The beast is wounded and its striking out in the blind, with its claws out and teeth seeking innocent blood. The men and women were in good spirits but the randomness of oppression can weigh heavily on the souls of the innocent. So those who can pray, pray for them. They will need it in this trying time. The journalist caught up in all this lunacy James Jemwa has not even had his day in court. His crime is simply doing his job . The injured have not yet seen a DOCTOR ".
