MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai is due to hold talks with diplomats today with the political crisis on top of the agenda.

The meeting follows a weekend engagement with a faction of war veterans.

Party secretary general Douglas Mwonzora reveals on his twitter account Thursday morning.

"MDCT President  Tsvangirai holding a diplomatic briefing in Harare today with African and non African diplomats on the situation in Zimbabwe" said Mwonzora.

Opposition parties and civil organizations are pilling on pressure  on the 92-year-old President Robert Mugabe who is also feeling the heat  within his ruling Zanu PF party.

Opposition parties and rights activists are engaging in protests almost every week demanding that he steps down due to old age.

Veterans of the liberation struggle, a key Zanu PF affiliate, have also rejected Mugabe and declared they would not support him at the next elections which are due in 2018.
