Man, 94, marries his partner of 65 years

After 65 years and eleven children together, a 94-year-old Zimbabwean man in Manicaland decided to marry his wife in church this month - and he says it's because he still loves her, a report said.
"The love which we had 65 years ago has never died since day one," groom Rerutsai Chikomba told the official Manica Post newspaper. His bride, Naume Nyamhindu, is 84, the paper said.
In a touching story in its latest edition, the Manica Post published a photo of the couple embracing in front of the priest in church in the Chisuko Anglican Diocese in the east of the country.
The couple appeared to be in great health, with the groom holding just one walking stick and his bride in a full-length ruched white gown with hat and jacket.
The paper quoted the groom - who is two years older than Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe -- as saying: "I still love her because she gave me 11 good children who I consider to be my brothers and sisters."
The couple's surviving children reportedly organised the big day on August 7.
Their secret to a long and happy marriage? Privacy, says Nyamindu. "You should....not divulge everything to so-called friends," she told the Manica Post.
