RE: TRANSFER OF DEPOT MANAGERS AND STAFF FOR BALANCING MANNING LEVELS, IMAGE BUILDING, MULTI-SKILLING AND REPOSITIONING FOR OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY
The Ministry's image has been severely tainted following the bad operational practice at some depots that has attracted negative media coverage.
In that context, Our Principals are concerned about the continuous bad perception and have directed the need to reposition VID and restore confidence of the motoring public.
This requires espousing Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) through the re-branding of the Inspectorate culture of doing business.
The BPR amongst other processes requires that staff be repositioned strategically so as to unlock full potential and benchmarking with best practice to achieve operational efficiency.
In pursuit of that strategy, depots should ensure that we do not loose our institutional houses at Beitbridge, Plumtree, Nyamapanda, Zvishavane, Gwanda, Hwange, Victoria Falls and Chiredzi.
The following members of Staff will be required to be at their new stations with immediate effect.
Mr. D. Zhangazha from Beitbridge to become Depot Manager VID Gwanda.
Mr. N. Mtetwa from Gwanda to become Manager VID Beitbridge
Mr. T. Nyakudyano from Bulawayo to become Manager VID Plumtree.
Mr. S. Muzori from Plumtree to become Manager VID Bulawayo
Mrs. B. Chimhau from Hwange to become Manager VID Chitungwiza.
Mr. F. Dhambisi from Chinhoyi to become Manager VID Chirundu.
Mr. R. Vuta from Belvedere to become Manager VID Hwange.
Mr. M.Katena from Chitungwiza to become Manager VID Bindura.
Mr. G.Mauru from Gweru to become Manager VID KweKwe.
Mrs E. Nyathi from Kwekwe to become Manager VID Gweru.
Mr. M. Musengezi from Marondera to become Manager VID Mutare.
Mr. L. Khombe from Mutare to become Manager VID Marondera.
Mr. J. Makaza from Chirundu to become Manager VID Chinhoyi.
Mr. C. Ganda from Bindura to become Manager VID Belvedere.
Mr. V. Sekerani from Plumtree to VID Vic Falls
Mr. E. Matenga from Mutare to VID Kadoma
Mr. J. Musosi from Eastlea to VID Nyamapanda.

Mr. F. Boko from Masvingo to become Acting Manager VID Chiredzi.
