Protests rock Harare, again
09 Sep 2016 at 15:32hrs | Views
STREET protests resumed in Harare today as hundreds of #Tajamuka members took to the streets calling on President Robert Mugabe to leave office.
The protests took place as Mugabe (92) was threatening violence on protesters at Zanu PF central committee meeting.
Tear gas was thrown at #Tajamuka marchers near parliament where they wanted to hand over a petition.
OK First Street outlet closed and other shops as riot police fought running battles with violent protesters.
