PDP convenes National Council meeting under trees

Opposition People's Democratic Party ( PDP) this morning (Sunday) held an open air National Council meeting under trees in Bulawayo.
The National Council preceded its first year anniversary celebrations at White City Stadium.
Party leader Tendai Biti posted pictures of the session.
The anniversary celebrations where briefly blocked by the police citing deteriorating security concerns before making a u-turn to allow the festivities to proceed.
Zimbabwe People First interim leader, Joice Mujuru is expected to attend.
