A 27-year-old man from Gokwe South district went berserk and pointed his manhood at his mother following a dispute over land.
There was drama in Gudhu village under Chief Jahana in Gokwe South district when Melani Chuma withdrew his erect manhood from his pants and pointed at his mother, Caseline Sibanda, following a heated argument over the sale of a piece of land Chuma inherited from his father.
Chuma was last week arraigned before Gokwe magistrate Mrs Sithabile Zungula and charged with criminal insult.
He pleaded guilty.
Mrs Zungula convicted Chuma and sentenced him to 60 days or a $ 100 fine.
For the State, Mr Vengesai Matavire told the court that on August 24 this year, at Gudhu village under Chief Jahana in Gokwe South Chuma had a misunderstanding with his younger brother Thulani after he attempted to sell a piece of land that he inherited from their late father.
Mr Matavire said a heated argument ensued between the two prompting their mother Ms Sibanda to intervene advising Chuma to take heed of his brother's advice.
This, the court heard, did not go down well with Chuma who then pulled out his manhood from his pants and pointed at his mother.
He claimed it was proof that he was old enough to make his own decisions as he was able to make children with it.
Mr Matavire said the matter was reported to the police leading to Chuma's arrest.
In his defence Chuma blamed his wayward behaviour on evil spirits.
