Ndowa family receives donations from Kuyedza Women's Club

The Kuyedza Women's Club has responded to the plight of the Ndowa family in Mudzi by donating food stuffs, the ZBC News reported on Monday.
The family has two children with disabilities and a bed-ridden mother who are being taken care of by the father.
Members of the club led by its Vice President, who is also wife to police Commissioner General Augustine Chihuri, visited the family and were touched by their plight.
The club also handed over cash which was donated by Commissioner General Chihuri to the family.
Mrs Chihuri commended the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation for highlighting the plight of the Ndowa family to the nation.
She said the media must take the social responsibility of informing the nation of disadvantaged individuals and communities.
Kuyedza Club draws its members from wives of police officers.
