Zimbabwe must accept the reality that it houses two separate states

Mthwakazi Republic Party has said it disappointed with politicians and the sports administrators who choose to distance themselves from the reality that is a time bomb to our society.
The party's secretary general Hloniphani Ncube said it is a known fact that matches between Dynamos and Highlanders are not mere sporting activities, but rather a way of seeking justice on injustices that were previously committed by the Shonas on the defenceless Ndebele ethnic groups.
"This date back to 1893 when more than 600 Shona batsman collaborated with the White colonialists at the battle of Mbembesi which subsequently led to the colonisation of Mthwakazi," Ncube said.
"Apart from that, these injustices were further perpetrated by the Mugabe-led government through what they termed Gukurahundi, which is a Shona word, simple interpreted as the rain that washes the trash."
He said this program saw the people of Mthwakazi losing more than 20 000 innocent souls.
"In our view, it's unfortunate that everyone now wants to single out one supporter and point fingers at him as a bad person, but in reality, that supporter represented the views of the majority if not all the supporters . If this assertion is untrue then, other supporters would have done something bad to him to demonstrate that they did not like or they were disassociating themselves with the placard," he said.
"Furthermore if you have given yourself a chance to listen to songs being sang at EMagumeni one would concur with this article. One of them is "lingamaShona lalibulalobaba", the other one among others is "Highlander itshilamoya wake walibona iShona elibhalwe tshilamoya " These songs are much more expressive than that placard. Why don't the Shona led police arrest all Bosso supporters for the songs then?"
He said apart from that Gukurahundi was worse because it was a genocide and the placard was just a message with no loss of lives.
"It's high time the government and the football fraternity start to do introspection and address the deep rooted problems of Mthwakazi. Our people are tired with the people and the club's of Zimbabwe and they will use whichever ever platform possible and within their means to express their resentment against this oppressive government of Zimbabwe," he said.
"Furthermore oppression and tribalism have been extended to sport and who knows where and when will it end. It's unfortunate that pertaining to Sunday match, newspapers are only concentrating on the placard and not the behaviour which was provocative exhibited by Dynamos players, who wanted to enter the stadium before the stipulated time and disturbing the Highlanders juniors match."
Ncube said they were also urging the Highlanders administrators to be holistic in their comments because soon they might become unpopular with the local people.
"Those people who are called names are the ones working hard to give the club money. They are not entering stadiums for free. We are closely watching how you will treat the fan and be warned in advance," he said.
"The expression of a Highlanders fan is not a crime, in fact in our view it is an expression of reality . Those who are wise must work on addressing this issue before it spirals out of control. As a party, we support the freedom of expression."
