Western Commonage Courts was nearly reduced into a boxing arena as two elderly women from Gwabalanda who could hardly walk on their own accused each other of witchcraft.
The women, who are neighbors last spoke to each other in 2000, a magistrate was told.
Presenting the state case, prosecutor Kenneth Shava said Miriam Mpofu aged 76 accused her neighbour Eve Muzwaba aged 79 of being a witch.
She claimed she caused the death of her husband and two children.That was on July 16 when the confrontation happened.
Mpofu pleaded not guilty and remanded out of custody to today.
