Anti-Mugabe protesters to languish in detention

Journalist Tendai Mandimika detention continues as his bail application case was today postponed to September 19.

The state said it was not ready to offer a response in his case.

Mandimika was nabbed during violent Harare protests last month.

Meanwhile, other 57 protesters also had their bail hearing moved to September 20. They still remain in jail.

Tajamuka leader Promise Mkwananzi was this week granted bail.

Tsvangirai will visit Chikurubi Maximum Prison today.
