ZANU PF Member of Parliament for Highfield West, Psychology Maziwisa has claimed that today's nationwide anti-government protests flopped.
National Electoral Reform Agenda (NERA) organised demos countrywide in which several people including members of parliament where arrested.
The protests where aimed at forcing the President Robert Mugabe led government to level the political playing field ahead of the 2018 elections.
However, Maziwisa took to twitter saying the protests flopped.
"Happy to announce that the proposed demos scheduled for today by #NERA, #ThisFlag & #Tajamuka have woefully flopped both at home and abroad!
"Democracy wld be best fulfilled in #Zim if the opposition stopped it's violent behavior & reverted back to peaceful means of doing politics!".
